An electric car film that ends at the charger.
Velaro is an electric coupé we created for a launch exercise. Most car films end on an open road. This one ends at a charging hub, because for an EV buyer that is where the doubt lives. If charging looks easy, owning the car looks easy.
Rain, neon and a red car do the drama. The details do the selling: the badge, the start button, the gear selector, and the ring around the charging port turning from red to green as the cable docks.
- A low tracking shot beside the front wheel, spray and neon rushing past.
- Inside the cabin, the driver eases off.
- A hand moves the selector to P, then presses stop.
- She steps out under the canopy of a charging hub.
- The cable docks and the port light turns green. End card.
Sound. A dark electronic track, tyre hiss on wet tarmac and a satisfying magnetic clunk as the charger connects.
